The practice

The Tour de Lyon medical practice brings together independent doctors specializing in General Internal Medicine who are committed to providing quality healthcare in a pleasant environment. The practice has been designed in new and bright premises, located in a vibrant neighbourhood undergoing continuous change. The practice comprises 5 consultation rooms, 2 treatment rooms and has its own laboratory.

After obtaining his medical degree from Geneva University, Dr Ammane specialized in General Internal Medicine at HUG.
During his career, he practised in various departments including geriatrics, angiology and hemostasis, cardiology, gastroenterology as well as in emergency departments and intensive care units before completing his training in general medicine.
He worked as a senior doctor  in internal medicine, geriatrics and rehabilitation and obtained his FMH title...

Dre Catherine Degoumois-Smith

Dr Degoumois-Smith graduated from Geneva University and pursued her training in several hospitals in French-speaking Switzerland in surgery and internal medicine departments. She then completed a specialization in General Internal Medicine at HUG, working in various departments, including ER, intensive care, pneumology and rheumatology departments. After obtaining her FMH title, she worked as a senior doctor at Beau-Sejour hospital.

After studying in Geneva and obtaining his federal medical degree in 2010, he continued his post-graduate training at the Chablais Hospital in Monthey, mostly in emergency and intensive care units. He pursued his training in the Primary Care Division in Geneva in various departments such as migrant healthcare, community geriatrics, prison healthcare and outpatient emergencies. Graduated in the canton of Bern in 1994. Sylvie has since followed many training courses including extended radiology, intravenous infusion installation, Tarmed billing, pedagogy for teaching and apprenticeship training.
Aside from her position as medical assistant, Sylvie is also a radiology trainer for medical assistants (OrTra), expert for final CFC exams and validation of prior learning for the OFPC (office pour l'Orientation, la Formation Professionnelle et Continue).
